The Author and Her Novel, Gilded Shadows

 Stephanie J. Cress is a work of balance and contradiction. She's emotional yet analytical; a scientist and an artist; and she's a high fantasy writer with aphantasia (no mind's eye). 

Her writing is concise but emotional and is often referred to as "like nothing I've ever read before." She also loves the rain, yet lives in the Mohave Desert in Kingman, Arizona where she steps outside her personal boundaries as often as she can.
